Stop Thief!A thief can use a screwdriver to pry in under the door handle on your full size or S-Series GM trucks or SUV. Then they are able to move the lock rods inside the door and unlock the vehicle without noise or suspicious behaviour. Read on to see how the Jimmi' Jammer® can stop this common method of entry.

The photo to the left shows from inside the door how the thief forced his way into the door to get at the lock pawl and rods. (Note that the lock rods have been removed in this photo for clarity.) Once inside the door, the thief uses the screwdriver to either move the lock rod or force the lock pawl off the lock. Either way, the door can then be easily unlocked. |

Jimmi' Jammer® kit numbers PN 011000 fits FRONT doors on 1988-98 full size GM trucks and 1992-2000 full size GM SUVs. PN 051800 fits FRONT doors on 1994-03 S-Series trucks and 1995-03 S-Series SUVs. (S10 & S15). (Does not fit rear doors or cargo door on S-Series SUVs.)
